'The Story of an Hour' assignment!

Hello all,

Today we worked on paragraph structure. You are to read 'The Story of an Hour' by Chopin and answer the following questions:

1.  In paragraph 5 there is an example of personification; what is it? What is the effect on the mood  of the moment as a result of this personification?
2. Prior to the last 2 paragraphs, how does Mrs. Mallard feel about the death of her husband? Give evidence for your answer.
3. What happens to Mrs. Mallard at the end and how do we know? What do you make of this conclusion?

Your answers will be graded soley on their use of the structure/rules we reviewed in class.

I will make other comments on content and grammar but will not mark you based on those factors this time.
